Not very long ago a black person did not have rights and people would have used the same arguments as you have.

I'm not sure what argument Tracy used to lead you in this direction...I read her point as...with the current scrutiny and cultural sensitivity, the detainees are getting more "rights" in some regards than a American citizen orthodox Jew who must remove his Yarmulke and robes if arrested for going 20 mph over the speed limit.

Which leads me to a discussion on the media (SHOCK) but I digress...
