clarified my comments erroneously attributed to gail you still misquoted me. My comments were directed to gail in regards to "Bush policies", specifically the Patriot Act and domestic spying.
Guantanamo and "enemy combatants" were not addressed by me.
FYI: Timothy Mc Vey and friends were "at war with the US gov who were taking away their constitutional rights." Crazy but is was their rationale for the Okl City bombings. They were terrorists, albeit domestic grown ones, and not alone .Yet there was no rush to enact legislation to circumvent the constitution to "detain" and spy on folks like them.
