In book Two Chapter 8 You wrote "Walters took an immediate personal inventory and found himself immensely lacking-- no way he could be one of these guys --but no way he would allow himself to live through letting them down either--which was about precisely what every other special operations warrior in the compound was thinking."

So I was wondering is this artistic license ? Or is this how you felt? And you think most guys felt? If so is this for neophytes or for experienced operators as well ? Is this only a combat thing or on training exercises as well?
