Playing devil's advocate...if that team member were shot, would you risk the rest of your guys to recover the body (dead or alive)in keeping with the "never leave a man behind" motto? Have you ever been in this situation? Is it common? SEALs are so driven, dedicated and determined I wondered if they burnt out during combat or if their training kicks in on instinct when the mind shuts down.
