It is one thing for him to get Arabs to hate the US and accept his organization's violence of terror attacks as necessary. It takes a completely different level of commitment to join the violence and accept his beliefs of the way Muslims should live.
So when you forward think and his end goal seems impossible for him to achieve you ask yourself why are we fighting him in the manner that we are . When fighting him in that way probably advances his goals faster than he could ever do on his own?

Who has done more for the Palestinian cause? I would say the death and destruction caused by Israeli retaliation . And of course you say they had every RIGHT to retaliate. ( and I agree)
