Tom, my thinking is fuzzie here--Can you read this and maybe word the idea better?

I don't know how practical this is but here goes: The military hospitals in Washington DC, Bethesda and Walter Reed have both been on the news showing their work with military amputees from the war.----I know they cannot treat your friends daughter--But-What about trying to contact them and asking one of their specialists if they could give your friend a referral to a specialist that is in private practice?
