Good thought, but I don't think

that they would really be of a lot of help. I would start with organizations such as the amputee coalition and/or American Amputee ( www.amputee-coalition.org and www.americanamputee.org) assuming they aren't getting assistance from their providers. I would advise to be patient--it sucks, but she needs to set up the correct solution for the rest of her life, not just fix the pain problem now.
