What I've said from teh beginning is that I don't want to see ongoing co-ed units.
And if you look at it, women are not as physically strong nor as fast as the men. We DO have many other things we can bring to the table, but those two areas men are stronger and faster. Period. And those are two of the main things that a SEAL needs. Compare Olympic records between the sexes and you'll see what I'm talking about.
No one is recommending impeding progress or telling women to be less than they are capable of. I just see certain tactical problems that can be easily overcome with a little forethought about the way people are wired.
