He is an incredible artiste, a triathlete (read FINE bod) and pretty adventurous in spirit, also loves kids, but next to my husband, he's the most ANAL RETENTIVE (MOOG MOOG!!) perfectionist i know. I think you could loosen him up a bit (okay, A LOT). Now you may be thinking that the AR is a bad thing, but let me spin it for you a different way ... imagine that quest for perfection aimed at YOU with PLEASURE as the goal.
