So the moral is...?

...you can reap the benefits of being in the Guard, such as education and extra pay, but not follow through with your duties when called upon? Should she be asked to return the money/benefits she’s received from The Guard and hand them over to the man or woman beside her that WILL be going overseas…or maybe the man or woman she would have been replacing, since those people won’t be coming home to their families or employers?

I’m trying to get an idea of a politically correct military.
