Your a great mom for taking kids to Six Flags. Will try a wild guess at uniforms

I think the dark navy blue & white sailor hats are fall/winter uniforms. Of heavier material. These would also be with wide collars too. Traditional Navy uniform.

I think the other button down standard collar and nice tailored had. Maybe that is a chief/NCO uniform. Or maybe even an officer.

Also, I think, Navy has something called 'uniform of the day'. This can also dictate what is worn on base or on liberty, I think.

Ok Tom, jump in any time. Time for you to point out how totally wrong my guesses are.
