My .41 is still my favorite for just on-the-line shooting (It's fun to have the gun that all the guys want to play with! ;-) Sounds like a Howitzer going off). I'm just switching to the 1911 because of cost of ammo on .45 vs .41 cal and also for the accuracy. I can do a cluster the size of a grapefruit from about 25 yards dead center on a silouette with the .41. I can do that cheesy smilie face on the head of the silouette with the 1911. Plus it's got more shots before having to stop and reload/change clip.
What do you prefer to shoot? One of your other posts said that the personal weapons weren't allowed? Does that mean that you all have the same sidearm? What are they using now the MP9(?) (do I have that right?)
The one I'm really looking forward to playing with is my MP5 (it's still at the gunsmith getting tweaked) I had an Eotech sight put on, changed out the barrel for a 16-fluted version and got an Action 3 upgrade on the bolt parts. Hopefully, the guy will have it back to me by xmas.
