I believe that pidgeon holing of terrorist as only those people who blow up bombs for political gain is detrimental to understanding and stopping terrorists. They do not practice in a bubble. They did not just all of a sudden become a terroritst because they joined a political group. They joined a policitical group because they are fundamentally damaged in some way. Either by history, education, family trauma, whatever. This practice evolved within a real world.I believe if we better understand the makings of this world and all the components we can understand the terrorist mentality better. Maybe we can intervene in someway before it comes to bombs and pure unreasonable hatred. It is in no way simplistic or meant to take away the horror of a terrorist attack. I just tend to view things in wholes and wonder at the parts that tie them together. Have a lot of questions re : peoples makeup and what drives it. I rarely ever see anything in black and white.
