I can't remember if this was ever discussed before. Survival. Evasion. Resistance. Escape. Have we touched on this? Is SERE part of BUD/s, or a separate entity? Or is it something not spoken of? I was just browsing through a book by a marine officer, Nathaniel Fick, title: One Bullet Away. He mentions going through SERE, and learning to swim with SEALs. Cross training? Does each branch do its own SERE? And if he was swimming with SEALs, do you guys offer training to our own forces, in addition to local indigenous personnel?
