My Dad had rheumatic fever during the Korean War and just found out he was entitled to disability in the last 5 years. He's been treated at the VA in OK and can't believe how nice and thorough they are. Since his TIA while he was here in AZ they have coordinated sending records to his civilian drs and kept up with regular checkups. He was there yesterday and has gone on and on about how efficient they are. I gather this is not the norm but I wanted you to know that there are good VA systems out there. Hope that the VA in MA treats you better Tom.
