I can see a parental influence...etc...but an institutional approach to teaching virtues? And What virtues (all that would be attempted in the teaching process)would an institution be teaching? I am thinking about the school my children attend...it is a Christian Academy...I am not sending them for the religious aspect but for the superior education opportunities....So, if they see me not "buying into" the doctrine...what influence if any will the institution have on them? Or is the fact that I send them there in the first place reinforcement enough?
Can you say the SEALs/Navy taught you a virtue? And if, so what is the virtue they taught you?
