I was at a party that was predominantly SEALs and EOD--and this was before EOD had really been recognized as a a critical capability. SO everyone is trying there best to be the biggest tough guy. Well, I look over and and I see one of the members of my detachment with about 8 girls standing around chatting--and he is not Mr. Adonis or anything, so Igo over to see what is up and he says "Oh, here is the leader now." And this gal turns and says--you're the band leader? cool" So, there amongst all the hardened killers and fearless "nerves of steel" bomb techs four members of the Navy Band (EOD Detachment 6 actually) got all the attention---
