I am the executive Director of a small non-profit community sailing program. If I think it is in my interest I will let them know via small reference that I was in the Navy and in Afhganistan which usually prompts the question "Navy in Afghanistan?"
The most frequent response is something along the lines of--"Wow, that's pretty cool--what was that like?"
