Re: Tom....unanswered questions

I became an English Major because I woke up really hung-over and beat up from rugby and decided that Chemistry was just too hard. I thought I would become a writer, as the first thing that I sent away was published—a short story for Easyriders magazine---I then began getting rejections so thought I would come up with a plan B, which was to get by on my good looks---hungry and dejected, I joined the Navy.

Most of my reading is non-fiction.

Time of birth not sure—thinking around 3am—place was Rhinebeck New York

I am very comfortable in the water—I swam competitively since I was 9, and then the deep sea background helps—much more knowledge imparted on the physics of diving in basic dive officer school. But I am most comfortable in the jungle. It is very easy to kill people in the water—I was in the water once when a sub accidentally sounded it sonar about two miles away—I thought my guts came out of my mouth
