I kind of hate to bombard you with more tough questions, especially on Sunday morning, but if I don't ask now, I'll forget. It seems like it should be a Monday question so that you can start your week with the tough ones!! But here goes...
As we were driving back from the play last night, and listening to XM radio, the Village people's "In the Navy" comes on. I am embarrassed to say that I didn't come to the realization that this singing group were gay until about 5 yrs. ago. So I'm s l o w. What can I say?? LOL All I ever focused on was the fun dance tunes they had. I should state that I don't care about anyone sexual preference-'nuf said on that topic.
But, as I listened to the words, I thought about the song and my train of thought went something like this:
==>> Being "IN THE NAVY"-->Tom was in the Navy--> Navy SEAL-->Don't ask don't tell policy--> I wonder if our resident SEAL ever dealth with a situation of gay men in the military, specifically in the Navy, more specific as a Navy SEAL.
Tough, tough question I Know. I just was curious if you would be willing to share your experience with us. AS IF YOU HAVEN"T SHARED YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH US ALREADY! :)
Thanks,
Jeanne
