So... I think reintegrating would be a major factor, simply becasue change is a constant. I would think the family dynamics would shift also when he left - so, now I have to add flexibility as a necessary trait for a SEAL wife.

Because on one hand you'd have to be both independent and self sufficient and therefore, you'd have your own life too, (differentiating between "our life") but then on the other hand, you'd need to be flexible enough to allow him to resume his place in the the family, your life and adjust once again to a shift in the dynamics.
