Tom, thanks for taking the time -- over and over I started a message to explain your last post and what I saw as the difference between giving up and submitting to reality -- but didn't feel it right to put words into your mouth -- and I'm glad I didn't because you said it much better than I could have and gave the great examples too

you have been pretty damned patient with us! :)

I suppose patience is part of the job ... but then again this isn't a job, is it? If so I've gotta advise you that you could get better pay and benefits elsewhere. ;)

Just finished "taking live" a 10-week web project and my shoulders/arms are in knots, so I'm leaving the 'puter and heading out for a late-night walk. Will take the ancient dog, an alert attitude and some fury in my pocket in case it's needed... but it's a pretty quiet neighborhood so chances are 'twill be no need.
