and I would argue again, this would be both a choice and relative-
as I, would prefer to say what I have to say to someone directly (even if they didn't like it) than to have it affect the realtionship, or to say it behind their back
so then which is the more moral choice? -
well that depends on whose moral code is being used as the measure - yours or mine-

"because it is hurtful to someone else"

Also in the perception of the person being spoken too....
around the shelter we had signs posted with the oldie but goodie

"You say I am a B!tch like it's a bad thing"...

and probably 99.9% of the female population may find it offensive...we on the other hand found it hysterical...
So Chris is on spot on when she says it is "relative"...the difference in views can be miles apart or back to back...depending on what is RELATIVE to THAT person....
