Another question if you please. I tried to look this up and I only confused myself more. Do all petty officers wear dress white uniforms as opposed to the cracker jack like uniform. If not at what rank do they and are their uniforms the same as officer uniforms.
I read in the Navy its rate and not rank but then it said they wear their rating on their left shoulder. So do all E's have a rating and a rate?
