is everything in swimming. I swam in high school, and still use the techniques I learned there (over 20 years ago). It's amazing how much time you can shave off by proper stroke technique and breathing properly. When I was training for my fitness camp, I was able to swim a mile in about 45 minutes. My brother, who was in better shape than I was, couldnt' beat my time :)
