Lack of Responsibility from the Individual and up and to the National level-
1. Financially
2. Morally (one example being the muddying of interpretation regards separation of church and state - and its ramifications/consequences on not only individual US citizens and their rights but other peoples and nations of the world.)
In trying to refine my challenges to the upper most or 100K foot view = highest Macro level, My husband and I had a really good discussion - around 1:00 p.m. 12/8. I kid you not we almost verbatim included your wording. We did not state India - we were more in line with the impact of China. Just as the US took over as a/the superpower coming out of WWII, a position that was able to be filled, a void waiting to be occupied, sometime after the peak and then ultimate decline of British supremacy - initiated by the end of Empire at the turn of the 20th century. I/we believe, based on circumstances as manifested as of today, the US is/will be eclipsed by China most definitely within the next 50 years - one marker (among many) for this transition being the fall of the Iron Curtain.
