I'm not sure I'm following you

Mankind has been enslaving people for thousands of years. How could men that came to the American colonies, and bought slaves, have CAUSED slavery. It's a "wrong" that has been perpetuated by MANY people over thousands of years.

And just as a note - and someone please correct me if I'm wrong - but wasn't the United States of America the FIRST COUNTRY (or one of the first) to ABOLISH slavery legally?

Whose side are you on? Let's just be clear, shall we? Are you slamming our country or supporting it? Cuz you're not sounding very supportive.
