decisions at home (Homeland Security) coordinated with our actions abroad? Is there a broad general consensus of an "American" way of proceeding? Isn't that dichotomy - between how we value "a" life here versus how we value "a" life beyond our border, is what is causing an enormous negative reaction from the rest of the world. I want to say a perceived dichotomy but I don't think that would be strictly accurate.
If the answer to this is in the archives, someone, please, point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Janet
