I agree with the UK in this:
"Bottom line here in the UK is you may have a "trade" but first and formost you are a soldier. So you go were you are sent" and IMHO do what you are ordered to do.
Funny its ok when the cooks or truck driver's or infantry experts are being asked to fill in as medical corpsman because of staffing shortages with a couple of days training at most. BUT when a "white" collar trade person is asked to do a "dirty, potential life ending job" then the crocodile tears start.
