in a non-fiction setting it is hard to show how our current actions are enabling terrorist manipulation and, without a solid strategic plan, could lead to the United States truly damaging its future. The reason, is there is no "other side" but hopefully in a novel setting, I will be able to show how the interaction may actually be meeting our enemies needs
