then today I had clients calling starting early, and my AZ brother came over to take me to a looonnng lunch noon to two ... very nice
at 3 p.m. the ancient dog came limping into the office leaving a trail of blood on the carpet :( she had evidently tripped (she is kinda clumsy in her old age) and ripped a toenail almost clean off. Poor baby! So I took her to the vet, did a couple of errands while they sedated her and cut the toenail and lasered the toe to make a clean seal.
Five p.m. the dog is ready to go home. But she is all rubber from the tranks ... kind of like a big furry rag! :)) Got her home, put her bed next to the dining room table and moved the laptop here so she can watch me while I answer the door for trick or treaters.
Clearly I was not intended to get any work done today! So I am opening up a 2003 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to enjoy while I catch up on the board and answer emails. :D
Thanks again to all for the warm wonderful wishes!! Brought a lot of *oh gawrsh* moments. I love you guys!
Hugs from Oregon
