And yet another reason why I'm glad I joined the Army instead of the Navy. Of course, currently we have 3 different styles of camoflage uniforms (woodland, desert and the new all-environment pattern) but there is rarely any confusion on when to wear those. We do have some issues on the wearing of the beret vs. the soft cap (i.e. camo print cap) and the new tan/brown suede combat boots vs. the black smooth leather boots. But nothing quite like the Navy's uniform confusion.
And I can't forget to mention our hideously ugly dress green uniforms. The female 'Class A' uniform, both skirt and pants version, are fugly, IEO. But except for a few (thousand) unfortunate individuals who have to wear them as the workday uniform, we rarely have to suffer them. TG!
