it's two men standing back to back preparing to begin a duel with each other. In the hand of one is a pistol. In the hand of the other is a rapier.

The one with the pistol turns his head over his shoulder and says out the side of the mouth to the other one, "I can't help it that you're an idiot!"

He brought this in and showed it to me when during beginning class he asked what was the best way to stop an overly aggressive opponent and I looked at him and said "Shoot him". Ahhhh It was the start of a beautiful friendship ;-)

Obviously the man recognized a kindred smartass when he met one.
