was off the ship in the arab garb....have a Marine friend (GySgt)serving in Iraq and he just returned to Iraq from R&R (took the wife/kids to Disney)and he said when he went home - they, the Army (since he was traveling on their services) insisted he wear his desert cammies to travel in, when normally a Marine never wears that uniform for anything but work/war - never outside the fence line. He said nearly everyone he passed thanked him for his service and wanted to shake his hand/pat him on the back, etc......just as it should be!
