My friend Ben is being flown out to Los Angeles next weekend to act as a consultant on a documentary on Pirates! The filmmaker is some big wig who had a copy of his book, tracked him down through the fencing club and called him.

With permission of the author (he's blushing, but I brow beat the permission out of him ... have you noticed that SEALs are just so damned cute when they turn pink like that?) I'm going to post the preface to his book. I'm in the middle of reading it and am enjoying it. If you're into SEALs and 'Adventure on the high seas with Pirates', you might want to check it out.
