Temporary Archive: Suzanne Brockmann's Message Board

So, we are in a jungle camp--been there awhile and it is time for beer (didn't know you could get beer in the jungle didja?) Actually, doesn't have a lot to do with the story---but, one of the bigger guys in the platoon says, going to the hammock(everyone sleeps in hammocks in the J)--climbs in and the tree branch breaks depositing him on the ground---lots of laughter he gets up and re-rigs the hammock--climbs in and the hammock splits up the middle and --again--deposits him on the ground--so, we have some Hondurians with us and the one guy is laughing his ass off pointing and saying ham hocks---and my guy just shakes his head looks at the ground and says "Petty Officer Ham Hocks reporting for duty"---
