Temporary Archive: Suzanne Brockmann's Message Board

As a halfway informed member of the general taxpaying public, I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about the criteria for being sent there, other than these people are or have been in the past a threat to our security or have been accused of doing something really bad. Since they have not, to the best of my knowledge received any sort of due process of law. For all we know, some may have just offended a powerful father-in-law or somebody else in their country, who then fingered this person to American troops. I am feeling that my country is on very thin ice ethically and legalistically. That is why I proposed setting them free. Granted after being in American custody for so long, they maybe killed for being suspected of cooperation with 'the great Satan', but they would have some choices at least after being released.
