First off I believe everyone who wants to own a gun should be able to. With the caviott, if you own a weapon, you have a public responsibility to keep it safe and to be proficient with it. <P> Ok, the reason for my question. I live in Arkansas where everyone seems to have been raised around and with guns. I wasn't. I have never held or fired one. For personal reasons I choose not to own one. People around here who know my living situation do not understand why I don't. Reasons are none of their business. I have a dog and a mental E&E plan if I need it at home. When out I do not act like a victim. I'm always aware of my environment. So would you lend me a 'wise Tom' brief comeback for the jerks that keep bugging me about not owning a gun, please? I am about to resort to using some very unlady like language with them and I will bring in other species when I do!!
