yeah, I've been following that

between the Stop Loss policies, IRR, and National Guard call ups, there has been a 'backdoor draft' in effect for some times now.

But because it's not an 'official draft' TPTB can say nope nope nope... not going to have a draft, never going to have a draft... nope nope nope. Not me.

Yeah... right. Tell that to the IRR guys and NG who got called up or the people on their third rotation who's contracts are up but who can't get out.
