You fight against a certain stereotype, don’t you? That all spec ops guys are trained killers and that’s what they do most and best. They’re the ones with the devil gleaming in their eyes, and their itchy fingers on the triggers, the ones around whom you must needs be very careful when waking because they don’t like to be startled. It leads to all manner of unpleasant situation. And once trained thusly, they live with it the rest of their lives.

No one sees the resourcefulness, the teamwork required, the adaptability and resilience that are an inherent part of SEALs. You guys just run under the radar too much! But it’s best that way. Hard to be clandestine when you’re on the front page of the paper…

Just another reason why your presence here is so appreciated. You have given me/us some really great insights into the mind of an ‘average’ (if there is such a thing…) Navy SEAL. :)

Whoa, Tom, I don’t like that devil gleam in your eye… j/k...
