retired SOF guys are just as likely to be the well loved laid back school bus drive or circuit city manager. Folks like Blackwater have increased pvt security options but just as many guys aren't interested. Kinda like "been there done that with the best, why bother with the rest ?" attitudes.
Granted most of what I have "gleaned" are from 1996-2001 pubs, with SOF with 20+ yrs at retirement. Not the 6-12 opt outs for $ reasons. Also, SOF are often frustrated by "civillian" bueracracy so they often chose jobs that limit their exposure. Go to work ,put in 8,come home.
