Perhaps I am not phrasing this in an understandable way, mea culpa: should a military memoir be a recounting of military experiences alone? Of course, people are free to write what they want and we can decide whether or not we want to buy it ... I'm just wondering how much Winston Churchill wrote about Clementine and his home life (or extra curricular life, if he had one) when recounting his experiences as England's wartime leader.
