I'd tell her to rethink her choice. Yha, she may love him but if they are in counseling (for problems)aready it's not looking good. I'd think that for anyone not already married.
The cold truth is that no matter if he's a seal,ranger,pilot,maintainer or nurse she will always come after the uniform. It has nothing to do with love! Honest. It's just part of the man she loves. Being a military wife isn't for the weak and clingy. Maybe Cathy Mann can put it better but I realized that my dh loved me more than the job but the job was our life and it was important to do the job very well.
That being said- being air force all my life - if he Really wanted her, he'd have made the effort.
