Temporary Archive: Suzanne Brockmann's Message Board

The flaming embarrassment is on my part. I am really bad a pronouncing names. When I was interviewing clients and had this problem, I would ask them the say their last name for me because I knew I would butcher it if I tried to pronounce it cold. So in your case, will you please type a real easy way to say your last name, please? I read Doug Waller's book and it really bothered me that I could not read your name where I was sure I was hearing it right in my head. As you can tell I am very insecure about this, it's because I had a really hard time learning to read. Which I love to do now, but still very frustrated when it comes to some names. Sorry TMI.
