Pre-SEAL Ensign Rancich

Posted by Tom on 9/30/2005, 21:20:55, in reply to "Tom,,,,our story please? The one you "owe":) to all the ladies who worked.."
Is attending shipboard repair locker leader class. A repair locker leader is someone responsible for conducitn repairs in a designted section of a ship during combat action. So it is fire fighting, plugging holes, shoring up bulkheads etc. So, anyway, I am at this school and the classes are being taught by a first class petty officer. I am the only officer in the class--and I also out rank this person by a bunch. But, I am new to the Navy and he has a lot more experience than I. So, we don't get along well because he thinks I have an attitude and I know that he has an attitude. So, I was out late one night catching up at the Christian Science reading room and helping out at the senior center, so I am pretty tired and figure class is as good a place to rest up as anywhere else. So I put on my sunglasses rest my chin in my hands with my elbows on the desk, and promptly fall asleep. So, out of the very edge of consciousness I hear "Will someone please wake the Ensign" AHA--my chance to strike a decisive blow! I sit up in my chair pull of my glasses fix the petty officer with a steely stare and say, "Well that might be necessary if the Ensign was asleep petty officer" "Oh, my mistake Sir.....Could someone please tell the awake Ensign to stop drooling on the desk"
