No, I shouldn't put you on the spot - it's just that he had a number of opinions about Tom that you shared a few days ago. So maybe he and his friends have some questions that they want answered. I know if I ask my husband one more out-of-left-field question: "How would you describe yourself: smart, wise or intelligent?", he's going to have me committed - (expletives deleted, "Why are you asking me all these questions?!).
