I always have a problem with picking out top 10 favorite books. Not just whittling down the number, but how do you determine favorite books? By number of times read, or by books that stick with you long after you finish them, even if you never reread them? For example, I loved Peace Like a River and Secret Life of Bees and The Things They Carried, but if I knew I was going to be stuck on a desert isle, they wouldn't be the books I'd take with me. Even though I loved them, I don't have the urge to read those books over and over and over. Whereas I never get enough of Out of Control or Flashpoint.
