I don't know if it is a fair comparison--when I first thought about your question I thought of people at my old work--were a lot of people got paid to have their ideas accepted--so it was more competitive. alot of trying to prove themselves right--which I hate--but in civilian world I don't see that as much. If there was a big difference it would be that men appear far less willing to think in abstract or overtime--so they tend to not see the merit in some of the more out of the box stuff.
Key issues seem pretty similiar--but I am not collecting data--though men seem to tilt toward economics and women toward social/family--but that is anecdotely at best
