Isn't pink like navy blue in that neck of the woods?

Speaking as someone who has been asked (ok, begged) to order from the Vineyard Vines catalog for teenage daughter, you don't exactly take your life into your hands wearing pink where you live. Or lime green. Or red pants. So why would someone get in your face for doing it? Maybe navy would be dangerous? Janet
