When you are moving you are constantly looking for cover, concealment and exits (Place to exit a kill zone)In this case there was a shallow depression--drainage dig like.. that we were using--so when the dog started barking, everyone very quietly wnet to a knee and then eased to the ground--instead of diving for the ground--in that process everyone with cover or concealment near by would have moved that way. When the light came on the guy had no chance of seeing us really, as we were just beyond the lights effective illumination area
